MCA Ad Copy Review: Evidence Worksheet and Campaign Readiness

Commercial lending, merchant cash advance and consumer lending need separate product and market reviews. This operational guide is not legal or financial advice and does not establish platform eligibility.

1. Define the offer and target markets

Record the advertised entity, product, customer, target countries, landing pages and inquiry recipient. Ask the compliance owner which disclosures apply. An APR or factor-rate rule should not be copied across products without review.

Google financial products and services policy includes general disclosures and product-specific restrictions. US personal-loan restrictions should not be treated as a universal classification of commercial financing.

2. Check each platform separately

Review the current platform policy and account notices for the product and market. Meta category and targeting requirements need their own review; this guide does not assume fixed age, radius or audience restrictions for every financing campaign.

Google financial-services verification varies by location and advertiser category. A manager relationship alone is not evidence that each account and market is covered.

3. Review proposed copy claim by claim

Pre-written MCA ads are a starting draft, not evidence that your offer is eligible or your copy will be approved. Review the actual financing arrangement, advertised business and destination together. A statement that was accurate for another provider or market may not describe yours.

Google’s misrepresentation policy covers misleading business information, unclear pricing, unreliable claims and offers that are unavailable or hard to find on the destination. These are Google requirements; they do not establish the requirements of another platform or replace applicable law.

Use the following worksheet in your own review record. Make one entry per proposed claim. Keep supporting documents in your authorized internal system; do not paste borrower records or credentials into a public inquiry.

Product and advertiser
What arrangement is actually offered? Which entity provides it, and is the advertiser the provider, broker or lead generator? Record the current product description and responsible owner.
Market and platform
Which countries or states, audience and advertising platform are in scope? Which current product-specific policy and local requirements does the reviewer need to check? Leave classification unresolved if the evidence does not establish it.
Exact proposed claim
Copy the wording and identify its placement: headline, description or landing page. What would a reasonable reader understand about cost, availability, timing or outcome?
Evidence and conditions
What current product terms or records support the statement? Record the document version, date, owner and material limitations. If support is missing, mark the claim as needing evidence rather than supplying an assumed rate, approval time or result.
Destination match
Which page explains the same offer and relevant conditions? Are costs and material terms easy to find? Ask the qualified reviewer which disclosures apply to this product and market; do not import consumer-loan disclosure rules into commercial financing without review.
Policy reference
Record the official policy URL, applicable section and date checked. Separate platform policy from the legal source and the reviewer’s interpretation. A cached template or an agency relationship is not a policy exemption.
Decision and owner
Who reviews the wording, and what is the next action? Use statuses such as evidence missing, revise wording, review pending or prepared for submission. Record the reviewed version and date. None of these statuses means regulatory compliance or platform approval.

Questions to resolve before submitting the draft

These are review questions, not recommended advertising claims. If a material question remains unanswered, record it and return the draft to the responsible owner. Do not label the draft “pre-approved” or treat a completed worksheet as permission to launch.

4. Prepare evidence before a handover

Use the Google financial-services verification handover checklist for the evidence packet. A completed checklist does not guarantee approval.

5. Respect platform enforcement

Use official remediation and appeal processes for suspensions. Do not create replacement accounts to bypass enforcement. Google circumventing-systems policy.

Request a fintech infrastructure review. Describe the product, markets and operational question; keep borrower details, credentials and documents out of the inquiry.

Financial-products and misrepresentation policy sources checked 8 October 2026. Verification and enforcement links retained from the 3 October review; recheck their current requirements before submission.
